DUAL XDV-8125 Review – Affordable In-Dash CD Player with '2 .5 "LCD display and TV tuner
This piece of QUAD first came out in the final quarter of 2004 and is still very sold. This is primarily a typical CD player AM / FM tuner, but unlike all the other players, CD player, front panel has an LCD screen of 2.5 inches, so you have the playback of audio and video of both the built -in TV tuner (yes you read that right with a TV tuner) or an external audio / video source.
Benefits
The first thing I like about this piece is DUALstylish design. It was not a conventional design your control panel and a large shift to the left, which is good, because I like to be able to create a button, volume and other functions to adapt instead of pressing buttons.
The screen is in the middle facets and less active, which is ideal to protect the screen, save it from accidental damage and scratches. I also wish that the unit is equipped with 3 sets of RCA outputs, making it possible for all fourspeakers plus a subwoofer if you have 2 sets of RCA audio / video inputs and 1 video output. All this means more sources of audio and video has been added to the receiver, and the expansion of video output to another device. For example, you can connect the game console or portable media player of this unit, and the video shows the 2.5-inch LCD screen.
Price and simplicity DUAL XDV-8125 tops it all as a cherry on the whipped cream.Prices range from $ 100 – $ 190, obviously depending on where you can find. If you get a good deal at about $ 100, I would say that you should take. You get an in-dash 2.5 "monitor without a TV tuner like this.
Cons
There are features missing from this device. But I think that simplicity is the key to the design, the lack of DVD playback is of great concern to many. But I do not watch DVDs with a 2.5-inch screen is not very nice to have anyway, so IIt's hard to believe that this is a con. The function was compiled with the ability to get the melody and broadcasting.
Even a small design error was probably the incompatibility of its little-larger-than-DIN design. On the front-central part of it changes as a ship, and may cause the installation of a range of vehicles, it is very difficult or impossible. In addition, the CD player and the screen of the receiver is hidden behind the front panel, which means that the panel wouldslipped determined to see the view. In this way the panel is at risk because they dominate the dashboard, leaving vulnerable to accidental bumps or damage.
Overall
Ultimately, I believe this unit is worth buying if you could get a good deal on it. Has a lot of output / input options, a rare 2.5 inch, TV tuner and a field. This is a good entry level unit and also a remote computer. The device is also an excess of average power (60 watts max, 22Watts RMS), which is slightly better than most in-dash head unit.
