Auto Sound Systems, Speakers and You – The holistic approach

Posted by admin On February - 23 - 2010

When the construction or renovation of a car audio system, the first thing that people think most are the speakers. While the speakers do not play a significant role in the overall sound of the system, there are many other things that should be considered if we are to avoid "over-ring Speak. It is not necessary with modern technology and fencing to take the suitcase with all the subwoofer for bass battle bone Shakin 'that you want to receive.

Headunit
Much of the soundsource. And in the case of car audio systems, this resource is the main unit. This is the CD player in the dashboard, which really gives indications that the rest of the system to speed up and play. You can find the best speakers and amplifiers in the world, but if a couple with a cheap head unit with a bad DAC, the sound will be bad. In fact, it will be with a good amplifier and speakers, any gaps in your head unit has become clear, however, speakers will faithfully reproduceeverything that is fed to them, including shortness of breath, caused by a low-cost DAC and operational amplifiers.

Amplifiers
Again, the best way to kill the sound is to start at the source and your job for output. When you have one unit of good quality, with the head of a clean audio signal, you need amplifiers for the signal quality and increase still clean the speakers. Amp Economic often introduce noise into your signal, either through the bad signal to noise ratio of the cycle of land / alternator humcaused by lack of internal motivation or external. Time will be a good speaker, any problems with your amp are very audible when the speakers to faithfully reproduce every little killer 'signal from office supplies – including noise.

Speakers
And finally, you should consider that the speakers themselves. The two most important things to remember is the quality makes a big difference, and more, is not always better. If you listen to a lot of techno music with a very fast bass hitswith 15 "subwoofer will make your bottom muddy and unclear. For this type of music, 10" or 12 "subwoofer is the largest to be banished. If you listen to rap music or other with a very low frequency rhythm and hits a 15 "can be anything you want. In all cases, the installation of speakers in an enclosure set up bandwidth due to ensure the best sound quality.

Speaker Cabinet
The sound is obtained from the exact same combination of amplifier / speaker will be very differentdepending on the fence is part of a simple fence will close fairly neutral, flat response across the frequency response of the speaker. In a container to a bandwidth properly tuned can help to compensate for lack of space in your response curve, or sound frequencies that really want to add punch.

While the speakers are often the first things to consider for building a car audio system, in fact it should be close to last on your list. Immediately after a qualityhead unit and amplifiers to drive them, you worry about your speakers. Although the transfer of your existing speakers in different types of fences can make a big difference in sound quality.

Does the job!

The old clock radio finally died and my husband and I thought it would be nice to have a CD player in the bedroom to listen to audio books in bed now and then (yes, I know, but it depends on the book!!). We've found the sound quality on such an inexpensive item to be extremely good, it's easy to tune the radio in and we like the huge time display - I can even see it without my glasses at night!! So far, it's awakened us at our ridiculously early get up time during the week without fail. No complaints - very happy with this clock/radio/CD player.
A great product!

This product has really been a great asset to my bedroom. The controls are easy to use and I can receive most of my favorite radio stations. This clock/radio/cd player allows you to select specific tracks and setting the alarm is very simple. You can wake up to your favorite track, radio station, or the buzzer. The only thing I may not like about this product is the fact that the buzzer has a low pitch sound, but it increases in intervals. Specifically, the alarm sounds in five seconds and then gradually goes to three, and finally every second. The product also allows you to adjust the brightness of the clock in three settings. Overall, I'm happy with this product.

Easy to read and listen to.

I bough this for my dad as a gift. The fact that it does not have a CD loading mechanism and uses a simple manually opened door is great. It's one less thing that can break and he doesn't have to wait for a slow opening loader. Clock numbers are very large and bright. Sound quality is decent and clear. It's not a full fledged stero system but I didn't expect it to be. It even features an input in the front for digital music players. It does its job competently and has a solid quality constructed feel.
This is a dream machine!

Kudos for prompt shipping by Amazon and quick delivery by the U.S. Postal Service. I am very happy with this CD alarm clock. It has everything I was looking for -- easy set-up, time display brightness control, decent sound, CD music to go to sleep by with 90-, 60-, 30- and 15-minutes choices, CD track selection for wake-up, and snooze. It's also stylish and not too large. Now I wake up to Boccherini's Minuet -- a civilized way to start the day.
Excellent All-Around Alarm Clock

Reviewer: uteotw,
First, it has an superb dimmer with three settings. I searched a long time to find a clock that didn't light up half my bedroom at night, and the lowest setting on this one is perfect (you can barely see it during the day but it's exactly the right contrast for at night).

Add to that nice big numbers, dual alarms, wake to CD/buzzer/radio (by the way, it's SO much nice to wake to a CD than a loud buzz), and very intuitive controls. It's also pretty heavy and seems very well made, unlike other cheaper, lighter ones I've had in the past.

If you live somewhere that loses power a lot, then you don't want this alarm clock (no battery backup), but if you have electricity most of the time, then this Sony is an excellent pick.
